La Tannerie Carcassone Rouge 2023

Booming in the 19th century, the tannery is a workshop where leather is made. Around 1880, the great period of textiles which marked Carcassonne life was over, but certain industries linked to it were maintained for longer, among them, leatherwork. The so-called “tannery” plot, from which the grapes for this cuvée are extracted, is adjacent to an old tannery. A place steeped in history which has seen our grapes ripen for generations.
