Description

Bodega Colomé is situated in Salta in the very far north of Argentina. At a latitude of around 25 degrees south, it’s pretty much a desert where only altitude makes grape growing possible. This region is therefore home to some of the world’s highest vineyards, sitting around 2700 metres above sea level. To put that into context, that’s pretty much double the height of Ben Nevis! It’s also a region where Torrontés, Argentina’s signature white grape, flourishes.

Torrontés is typically floral and the Colomé Estate has delicate hints of white flower, jasmine and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate delivers bright citrus notes with a hint of spice. A really refreshing style which would pair nicely with spicy food.
