A crusted Port is a younger Port which has had no filtration. It produces a full bodied style, more in keeping with a vintage Port, and requires decanting before drinking. The Fonseca is an outstanding example of a crusted Port, with dark berry fruits and layers of plump raisin, berries and spice. An excellent pairing with full flavoured hard cheeses.
