Catena Appellation La Consulta Malbec 2019

Family vintners for over 100 years, the Catenas are recognized for their pioneering role in high-altitude viticulture and in leading Argentina’s Malbec revolution. In the 1950s, Don Domingo Catena began sourcing Malbec from the vineyards of La Consulta.
A distinguishing feature of this winery is its pyramid-like design. Catena set up this winery with the prime objective of introducing the European style of winemaking in Argentina.
The Bodega Catena Zapata Winery is so meticulously planned that it is considered to be the mother of all other 4 wines in the Zapata Winery – Nicolas Catena Zapata, Malbec Argentino, Adrianna Malbec and Nicasia Malbec.
